Project Overview
This project is focused on improving medical dictation software. Accurate medical documentation is essential for effective patient care, yet the more time clinicians spend making notes in the EHR, the more likely they are to burn out and the less time they have to interact with patients and lead clinical research. Spend some time in November recording yourself dictating medical notes so AI teams can improve their medical dictation tools! Don't worry - we'll provide the notes, and all patient information is de-identified.
Can I participate?
Consultants must meet 3 simple requirements in order to qualify to consult on this project.
Medical Professional in US
Consultants must be medical professionals - nurses, residents, fellows and attending physicians all qualify. Medical students are not eligible for this project.
Experience with Dictation
You must have some experience with dictation software as part of your professional medical role, either with transcription software or human scribes.
5 hour commitment in November
Completion of 5 hours of dictation by the end of November 2023 is required for this project. Additional hours are likely to be available in December.
